Hanky Panky 66 was a compilation that was originally released in 1966 by Discos Cisne in Mexico City. It compiled 3 up and coming teen garage groups, Los Panky's, Los Picapiedra, and Enrique Acosta. At the time, these were amongst some of the best and favorites of the 2nd wave of teen garage rock, although they were all very short lived.
Much like the groups on this compilation, the original LP faded into obscurity and became impossible to find, although it did remain a favorite amongst collectors.
This collection is highly recommended for fans of Latin garage and obscure garage in general. Some wild teen garage punk cuts on here as well as some poppy jangly tracks.
